Moth Night Aralam

National Moth Week is an annual global event that encourages people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in mothing by sharing photos of the moths they discover. Taking place in July, this week-long celebration promotes citizen science, as participants contribute their findings to help researchers study moth diversity, distribution, and ecology worldwide. By engaging in this collective effort, individuals not only enjoy the beauty of moths but also play a vital role in advancing scientific knowledge about these important creatures.

As part of National Moth Week, an event is organized at Aralam Wildlife Sanctuary in association with Aralam Wildlife Division, Kerala Forest and Wildlife Department at Aralam Wildlife Sanctuary from 19 - 20 July, 2025.
