Sathyabhama Das Biju, born in May 1963, is a renowned Indian amphibian biologist and wildlife conservationist, often referred to as the “Frogman of India.” He heads the Systematics Lab at the University of Delhi’s Department of Environmental Studies and is recognized for his significant contributions to amphibian research, including the discovery of over 100 new species and two new families of amphibians.
